Nielsen's Gardens Bed & Breakfast, home for Michelle and Rick Nielsen, is a quiet country retreat in Sayward, B.C. For this site I created the banners and took the photos seen throughout the site. The scroll design, in each banner, I made from one of the garden gates.

My On Goings

On goings, to me, are what I'm up to, things I will be doing, things I've done and links to examples of graphics I've enjoyed working on for some amazing people. You should be on that list too! *grin*

A bit about me. I was born and raised, and still live here in the Comox Valley. Its my favorite place to be. Why? Its an endless trail of things to do, sights to see, forests to explore and beaches to comb. In other words, its an abyss of inspiration.

I've always been a creative individual, with words, pencils, paints, a camera. I think its something we all have in us, some just chose to let it out while others ignore it.

Art fascinates me, all mediums, not always because of what is seen visually, but more because I wonder of the thoughts the artist has, what is drawn from their heart and displayed before them. A piece of them is exposed. Its a gift they give to a viewer.

I graduated from the professional photography certificate program at NIC in 2002. May of 2009 I finished the certificate program for Web Design and Optimization through Selkirk College. Currently I'm working towards obtaining a certificate in multimedia design. I'm quite excited about it! Imagine then what I can create for you!

Something else I've been up to lately is making hand-made cards for different occasions. Its an another enjoyable creative outlet.
